WCPTA: Standing Rules

Does your PTA have standing rules that document the responsibilities of your officers & committee chairs? Standing Rules can be used to document any policies and procedures for your local unit. These rules cannot conflict with the by laws, but they can help prevent conflict within your PTA. An example of a standing rules from a local PTA will be shared. The meeting link will be distributed to registrants via email.

WCPTA: 990N Submission Steps

Annual 990 tax submission is part of remaining compliant as a PTA unit! This virtual meeting will show the steps that a unit uses to submit their 990N; your unit will take similar steps, but may select different answers. Please reference the IRS website to determine which type of 990 YOUR unit should submit; when in doubt about any 990 questions, reach out to a tax professional.
